On May 19th Haworth opened its Chengdu showroom at the IFS. The Haworth Chengdu Organic Space achieved a LEED v4 Platinum certification. This certification is an essential step for Haworth’s further development in the southwest China market.

Mr. Davide Fugazza, Director of Sales for Greater China and North Asia at Haworth, welcomed the guests with an opening speech. ‘This year is the 30th year that Haworth celebrates its entry into Asia-Pacific market. Chengdu being a strategic city in the West China, will help us open the gateway to exploring further the North-West China market.  We would not have achieved this success without the great support from our dealer partner – HWS Group."

Mr. Ramon Wang, Haworth General Sales Manager, North & West China and Mr. Joe Zhou, president of HWS Group (Beijing) gave their welcome speech as well. Joe added, ‘The Chengdu showroom continues Haworth’s sustainability commitment on interior design as well as office products. We always take customer experience as a priority and aim to provide our client and partners with a space that encourage both collaboration and  innovation.’

Themed at ‘The Great Gatsby’,  the evening brought guests an atmosphere that filled with elegance, excitement and especially relaxation on a Friday night after a busy working week.
